Gunma University Spring Session 2026 Application Guidelines
1. Objective
This session is designed for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at the partner universities of Gunma University. It offers a four-day intensive program providing unique learning experiences at Gunma University and in Gunma Prefecture. Through observing and engaging with what they see and feel, participants will deepen their understanding of Gunma University and the region. Working collaboratively with group members through constructive communication, students will deliver an oral presentation on the final day about their experiences in Gunma. The aim of this session is to foster greater interest in Gunma University.
2. Eligibility and Requirements
– Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at a Gunma University partner institution at the time of the session.
– Must belong to a university that received this invitation.
– Must have sufficient English proficiency to understand lectures conducted in English.
– Must be willing to actively participate in group work.
– Must be available to attend all four days of the session.
– Must purchase overseas travel insurance before arrival in Japan.
3. Period, Capacity, and Fees
Dates: March 16 (Monday) – March 19 (Thursday), 2026 (4 days)
Capacity:20 participants (In principle, approximately five students per institution)
Tuition:Free (However, additional fees will be required for activities conducted at off-campus facilities.)
Accommodation + Activity Fee: ¥50,000
Other Personal Expenses:Round-trip travel to Gunma University (including international flights and public transportation within Japan), lunch (available at the university cafeteria for approximately ¥500–¥700 per meal), dinner, personal sightseeing expenses, and travel insurance premiums.
※Transportation is planned by microbus (our reserved university bus); however, the use of public transportation (such as local buses) will also be required.

Application Deadline: December 15 (Monday), 2025
Selection Process: Participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis, with consideration for nationality, institution, and gender balance.
Notification of Acceptance: Results will be announced by the end of December, 2025.
※ If a visa-related certificate is required, it will be issued by the end of January, 2026.
※ Accepted applicants must promptly submit a copy of their passport.

群馬大学スプリングセッション2026募集要項

1．目的
本セッションは、本学交流協定校に在籍する学部学生および大学院生を対象に、群馬大学及び群馬ならではの体験学習を４日間の集中セッションとして提供するものです。見たり感じたりした事柄をもとに群馬大学及び群馬県についての理解を深めます。グループのメンバーと共に建設的なコミュニケーションをしながら、群馬での体験について最終日に口頭発表を行います。このセッションを通して、群馬大学への関心を高めてもらうことを目的としています。
２．参加資格・条件
・本セッション終了時まで群馬大学が指定する協定校に在籍している学部学生または大学院生
・本案内を送付した各大学に在籍している学部学生または大学院生
・英語による講義を理解できる英語運用能力を有すること
・グループワークに積極的に参加できること
・４日間のセッションすべてに参加できること
・来日前に海外旅行保険に加入すること
３．実施期間・定員・参加費
・実施期間：2026年3月16日（月）から3月19日（木）まで（4日間）
・定員：20名（※同一の教育機関からの受け入れは原則5名程度とします）
・受講料：無料 ※但し、学外施設における体験費用は別途必要となります。
・宿泊費＋体験費：50,000円
・その他自己負担額：群馬大学までの往復交通費（渡航費、公共交通機関における費用）、昼食（基本的には大学の学食［1食あたり500～700円程度］を利用可）、夕食の食事代、個人での観光に伴う費用、海外旅行保険の加入費用
※マイクロバスでの移動を想定していますが，公共交通機関（バス）利用も必要となります。

・応募期限：2025年12月15日（月）
・選考方法：参加希望者の国籍、所属機関、男女比などを考慮しながら、先着順に採用します。
・採用通知：採用者は、群馬大学より12月末までにお知らせします。
※visa申請に証明書が必要な場合は１月末までにお送りします。
※採用された場合、速やかにパスポートの写しを提出してください。
