Application Guidelines for Incoming I-GFL Exchange Students (2027)
The Interdisciplinary Program for Global Frontier Leaders (I-GFL) is a new interdisciplinary program offered by Gunma University. I-GFL aims to cultivate globally minded, socially responsible leaders who can work across disciplines to address real-world challenges. Through English-medium courses, local and international students learn together by discussing interdisciplinary topics and developing the knowledge, skills, and perspectives needed to thrive in today’s interconnected world. The program also includes Buddy G-Exploration, in which Japanese and international students work in groups to experience local industries and communities in Gunma Prefecture.
