Keele University Visit
On Friday, May 12, 2017, Gunma University International Center (GUIC) was honored to receive the visit of two distinguished Keele University guests. Professor Richard Luther, Professor of Comparative Politics, Vice President Internationalisation and Ms. Elissa Williams, Global Mobility Manager at Keele University’s International Office, spent a full day visiting both the Aramaki and Showa campuses.
Located in the heart of England (Staffordshire), Keele University has one of the largest and most beautiful campuses in the United Kingdom. Situated on vast lands that are steeped in history, tradition and natural beauty, today’s Keele University is a modern, comprehensive and progressive academic institution.
A partner of Gunma University (GU) since 2015, Keele University has so far received two groups of GU students to take part in a 4-week “English Language and Culture Program.” During their recent visit, Ms. Williams took this opportunity to introduce Keele University and the content of the next summer program to GU teachers, staff and students. Looking ahead, we look forward to deepening the level of collaboration between our two universities.
