1. Follow-up Technical Publication Donation

In order to advance the research of former international students in Japan in their respective special areas and to further enhance the results of their study in Japan, the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) donates technical publications to these students after their return home.
These technical publications will be donated to those who, after their return home, will, or are engaged in administrative work, educational work, or research work or, except for those engaged in work in private sectors, are continuing their studies at a higher educational institute. Nationality and other factors limit the number of grantees.
Available publications are those already published which are considered relevant to a grantee’s special and technical field of study and are sold at ordinary bookstores. Any weekly/monthly/seasonal publications, organizational magazines, research bulletins, monographs or overseas editions will not be donated.
The duration of any donation is for one year. While the grantees are not charged for publications, the total costs should not exceed ¥10,000 annually (shipping costs not included).
